A Double-edged Sword … K. Godavari Sarma
(Dr. K. Godavari Sarma was working as English lecturer in Kakinada when a car accident took away his promising career as a bi-lingual Poet. He brought out one poetry anthology “Godavari Galagalalu (1980) in Telugu and another “On the Banks of Nagavali” in English. His doctoral thesis was about Indo-Anglian Poetry. “Antarvaahini” from which the above poem was selected, was a posthumous publication. His wife Mrs. Syamala is presently working as English Lecturer in GMRIT, Rajam.)

శర్మగారూ,
అంతేకాదు. కాలంతో పాటు మన దృక్పథంలో వచ్చే మార్పుకూడా వ్యంగ్యంగా సూచించాడు కవి. గోదావరిశర్మ గారు మంచి చతుర సంభాషిగా పేరున్నవాడు. అతని కవితల్లో ఇది మనం చూడొచ్చు.
